NTNU Overseas Exchange Study Grant

Selected for the NTNU Overseas Exchange Study Grant (2024), a university-wide competitive scholarship awarded on academic record and a study proposal. The grant funded a semester of my exchange at the University of Nevada, Reno.

I spent the exchange on coursework, picking advanced engineering electives taught in a system I had never studied in. Beyond the classes themselves, the semester taught me to adapt fast: a new grading culture, unfamiliar course formats, and coursework and teamwork entirely in English.

The exchange confirmed that I wanted to build robots in the US, strengthened the application that got me into Purdue’s M.S. in Robotics, and made me comfortable working far from home.
